A Homage to 2006 (June 2020)

2006 i was in the 6th grade. My first day of middle school i'll always remember i got put in detention because my pants "weren't apart of the uniform." My favorite pair of tan camo khakis. The conversation with the principal and my mom didnt go to well about that one. Around the same time my brothers dad owned a small boutique. He had bape, bbc, ice cream, red monkeys, evisus, air force ones....all the shit all the stuff. Some fake some real. It didn't matter to me as long as i had some gear the kids in my school didnt have. i was one of the only kids in my middle school coming through with some crazy pieces. My jersey game was ridiculous. Sadly my mother & myself didn't realize how important these things would be to me in future so they're just
gone now. This piece feels very nostalgic to me. Its like I'm traveling back to 06'. You just had to be there to know.

one of the first zip up hoodies i remember having was that LRG skull joint. i had the black & the white colorways. The feeling i got when i put that on in the morning before school was just wow. as an 11-12 year old kid this jacket had meant so much to me. i would zip it all the way up anytime i could just to flex. the metallic print & the mesh eyes so you could see was just beautiful. i wore the white jacket to its last thread lol. as far as quality i fell in LOVE with the bbc/icecream & bape full zips. a real one was thick. even fake ones were
pretty good quality. the inside patterns on the bbc stuff.....shoutout nigo & pharrell. 2006 man
