Forty Eight Collaboration w/ Paradice 2022

@basics.company x @paradiceavenuesouf

The muthfuckin 48 man. IYKYK. The most iconic bus in Seattle when we were growing up. When the 48 went all the way from the Loyal Heights to the Central District & stopped right in the Southend. It was once one of the longest routes that’s why they shortened it. So much has changed since then throughout the years. Both neighborhoods have become very gentrified & try to become unwelcoming for people who grew up in this community. There are so many empty & overpriced apartment/retail spaces. It’s actually crazy to me that they wouldn’t want to accommodate to the people who grew up in these neighborhoods. You’re results would be much better if you just lowered the cost of living & accommodate to OUR people. But they’d rather have an empty space then it be filled in by a minority. Overall it’s a sad sight to see but i pray for change. Shoutout to king county metro though. They’ve stayed down and supported the community throughout all this. The memories i have on the 48 specifically are just classic. From my aunt being the bus driver & me getting all day transfers to the bus driving right past me and me having to chase it down to the next stop. A lot of character was built on this bus and throughout this community and i’m grateful for every moment. Shoutout to the 48.

This collaboration is so important me. Harry & Ari have been such a light in my life ever since we’ve met. These guys truly have always been supportive of the journey. Early on they were pressing me to get the retail space 2 doors down so we can all share a space on the same block and create that Fairfax / Melrose feel in Seattle. Unfortunately due to the timing we weren’t able to make that happen bit that’s truly a goal of mine. Being right next to the homies. These guys always wonder how i run a one man band but im just dedicated more then ever. Plus having guys like them around i can call for ideas and advice isn’t necessarily a one man bad. I love streetwear & will continue to build & expand the brand as long as im breathing. Thank you so much for believing in me @paradiceavenuesouf .
